Ken is a Tony Award-winning producer of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, including most recently Once on This Island (2018 Tony Award Best Musical Revival), Gettin’ the Band Back Together, Groundhog Day: The Musical, Deaf West’s Spring Awakening, and The Play That Goes Wrong. Davenport has revolutionized the Broadway market with his diverse approaches at engaging audiences through his shows, as well as supported the Broadway ecosystem through a number of his own subsidiary businesses. He is an internationally recognized and award-winning writer of several Broadway and Off-Broadway shows as well as several books about producing, Broadway investing, and how to raise money for shows. Additionally, he is the Executive Producer for North America for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group.
Monica is the Director of Marketing for Davenport Theatrical Enterprises where she has worked on numerous shows, including Once On This Island (2018 Tony Award for Best Musical Revival), Gettin’ The Band Back Together, Spring Awakening, The Bachelorette Show, Daddy Long Legs and more. Monica also works on The TheaterMakers Studio, Ken’s online training and membership community for theatre-makers. She is also the CEO of Broadway Murder Mysteries.
Over the last 10 years, Summer has been involved professionally in the theatre and television industry having worked in Production, Marketing, and Management for The Rachael Ray Show, The New Victory Theater and Florida Repertory Theatre. Summer currently resides in Orlando, Florida where she proudly manages Community and Membership for The TheaterMakers Studio. Her freelance photography and promotional video work has been featured in American Theatre Magazine, The News-Press, Florida Weekly, Happenings Magazine, Broadwayworld, and several theatrical show sites and blogs including nationally acclaimed Wall Street Journal drama critic, Terry Teachout’s About Last Night.
Mary is an event producer and content creator working for Ken Davenport. Mary is also the co-creator/co-host of the theatre podcast, Page To Stage: A Conversation with Theatre Makers and works with Broadway Teaching Group on social media marketing. Previously, Mary has worked as a dramaturg, teaching artist, and director.
Melvin is an Off Broadway Alliance Award winning playwright for penning the book of the TYA phenomenon Polkadots: the Cool Kids Musical. Melvin began his writing career while still a student at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music as a founding member of the AMP Theatre Company. A proud participant in the Yale Institute for Musical Theater, Melvin took a small break from writing to make his Broadway debut in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. The acting bug now quenched, Melvin is currently working on the musical adaptation of the YA Novel The Supadupa Kid for Barrington Stage Company and an original movie musical about the famed Greensboro Four entitled One Week at Woolworth’s. Melvin is represented by William Morris Endeavor.
Kellyann is a NYC based performer and small business owner (Bend Over Backwards Virtual Assistance). After graduating from Point Park University with a degree in dance and musical theatre, Kelly went on to perform in shows such as, Pippin (nat’l tour), The Wizard of Oz (nat’l tour), Mamma Mia (PCLO), plus many regional productions. Kelly is the co-creator of Broadway by the Glass, and strives to open minds, fill them with joy and hope, and make the world a better place through the magic of theater!
