Ken Davenport – Founder
Ken is a Tony Award-winning TheaterMaker. His favorite production is his daughter, McKenna Kay Davenport. Everything he has done and will do is because his father, Dr. Kenny D. Hasija (1929-2020) told him he could.
Fun Fact: I’m an avid golfer who dreams of playing Augusta National someday!
Monica Hammond – Director of Programming
Monica Hammond is a serial entrepreneur and the founder of Big Leap Brands, Broadway Murder Mysteries, and Curious Custom Coloring Books. As a Broadway marketing professional, she has worked on numerous shows, including the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Once On This Island, Deaf West’s Spring Awakening, It’s Only A Play, Gettin’ The Band Back Together, as well as the National Tour of A Night With Janis Joplin. Off Broadway: That Bachelorette Show, The Awesome 80s Prom, Daddy Long Legs, A Better Place.
Fun Fact: I am obsessed with drag queens and attend DragCon every year!
Summer Groh – Community Manager
Over the last 10 years, Summer has been involved professionally in the theatre and television industry having worked in Production, Marketing, and Management for The Rachael Ray Show, The New Victory Theater, and Florida Repertory Theatre.
Summer currently resides in Orlando, Florida where she proudly manages Community and Membership for The TheaterMakers Studio. Her freelance photography and promotional video work have been featured in American Theatre Magazine, The News-Press, Florida Weekly, Happenings Magazine, BroadwayWorld, and several theatrical show sites and blogs including nationally acclaimed Wall Street Journal drama critic, Terry Teachout’s About Last Night.
Fun Fact: I learned to surf in Hawaii when I was 10!
Mary Dina – Special Events Producer & Content Manager
Mary Dina is an event producer and content creator working for Ken Davenport. Mary is also the co-creator/co-host of the theatre podcast, Page To Stage: A Conversation with Theatre Makers and works with Broadway Teaching Group on social media marketing. Previously, Mary has worked as a dramaturg, teaching artist, and director.
Fun Fact: I’m probably the only person on this planet who hasn’t seen The Office.
Eric Webb – Director of Creative Development
Eric scouts and aids in developing new stage and film properties as well as providing script consultation and educational programming for the playwriting community.
Writing projects in development include Bonhoeffer (with composer Scott Wilkinson, directed by Daniel Goldstein, the anti-bullying musical #JustBeYou (commissioned by Random Farms Kids Theater, composed by Stephanie Bianchi), Breakup – The Musical (an irreverent new musical, also with Stephanie Bianchi), Thompson/Gifford (a Gothic chamber musical). Previous writing credits include A White Man’s Guide to Rikers Island, Krampusnacht, Tania, “Orion”, The Angels of Mons, Ubu – a twisted puppet show co-adapted from Jarry’s Ubu Roi, Playwriting is Easy and Strange Currencies.
Fun Fact: I’m a comic book fanatic with a collection of over 6,000 issues!
Melvin Tunstall III – Copywriter
Melvin is an Off-Broadway Alliance Award-winning playwright for penning the book of the TYA phenomenon Polkadots: the Cool Kids Musical. Melvin began his writing career while still a student at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music as a founding member of the AMP Theatre Company. A proud participant in the Yale Institute for Musical Theater, Melvin took a small break from writing to make his Broadway debut in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. The acting bug now quenched, Melvin is currently working on the musical adaptation of the YA Novel The Supadupa Kid for Barrington Stage Company and an original movie musical about the famed Greensboro Four entitled One Week at Woolworth’s. Melvin is represented by William Morris Endeavor.
Fun Fact: I used to coach Beauty Queens, Tots in Tiaras, and direct National Beauty Pageants!
Kellyann Coyle – Social Media Coordinator
Kellyann Coyle is an NYC-based performer and small business owner (Bend Over Backwards Virtual Assistance). After graduating from Point Park University with a degree in dance and musical theatre, Kelly went on to perform in the National Tours of Pippin and The Wizard of Oz, PCLO’s Mamma Mia, plus many regional productions. Kelly is the co-creator of Broadway by the Glass, and strives to open minds, fill them with joy and hope, and make the world a better place through the magic of theater!

Carly Jaquez – Communications & Marketing Intern
Carly K. Jaquez is currently a senior at Wagner College in SI, NY. She is originally from North Jersey and is studying Arts Administration with a minor in Spanish. She is one of the Communications and Marketing interns at Davenport Theatrical Enterprises, with experience in administration, graphic design, video editing, and production for film and theatre. Most recently, she was a Producing intern at Leve Productions, an administrative assistant for the Stanley Drama Awards, and an Art PA for the web series “How Did That Happen?!” After graduation, Carly is hopeful to continue her career in theatre and her goal is to bring new work to the stage and screen created by underproduced writers.

Sophie Glassman – Communications & Marketing Intern
Sophie Glassman is a current senior at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She is majoring in Drama, with a minor in Business Entertainment Media. Sophie is currently a Communications and Marketing intern with Davenport Theatrical Enterprises and works heavily with social media. Sophie also has a major passion for hospitality and loves working in restaurants and fitness studios (she is a certified yoga sculpt instructor!) She is hopeful to continue her career in the theater industry post-graduation and cannot wait to see where life takes her.
